Through Baptism we are buried with Christ and raised in His lifeRomans 6:1-4
1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound?
2 Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?
3 Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?
4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5 For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection,
6 knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.
7 For he who has died has been freed from sin.
8 Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him.

Last Sunday was a day filled with Joy for 30 people who were spontaneously baptized by immersion and two of those people were my grand daughter and her husband!!  An answer to many prayers said on their behalf and God was faithful in bringing them to a place were they felt the Holy Spirit move them to be baptized. I wasn't there but it was all captured on video so family and friends could view it at a later date. And the Joy continued to spread to the families of each precious person. The service just before led many who are believers to be obedient and responded. Praise God for touching so many lives.

Oh, that's SO wonderful!! It's so good to hear stories like this and see God answer prayers! Must have been an awesome time, and I'm sure the ripples of that day will continue!
