Betcha ya didn't know.

Betcha ya didn't know we have a new library in my town and we checked it out the other day, or that we have a great farmers market every Wednesday and Saturday where you can get real yummy fresh fruits and veggies, flowers and even fresh bread and rolls. If your real good you can walk the boardwalk just a few feet from the farmers market and get just about any kind of ice cream a person can think of. My favorite, of course Mint Chocolate Chip, Sweetman likes butter pecan or turtle sundaes.

Or that you can grow bamboo here in Michigan, yup you can.

A couple of years ago I got a root of bamboo from my former boss. He told me that it will take over if you let so I planted the root in a corner of my yard where not to much grows just to see what it would do, and surnuff, it grew!!! Just this year it is about 7 feet tall and has increased in circumference alot. I noticed a smaller one growing along side the this one so it is spreading. I think its pretty so I will just let it go to see what happens next year.

Just thought you might want to know these things.

I think I might like to try that. Now if I can only find a bamboo root. I did not know that about your library or markets or that your favorite was Mint Chocolate Chip. Ice-cream is not one of my favorite things to eat and I rarely have it. GASP!

I am interested in the bamboo plant. It looks pretty with all the green. We have a farmers market in my town too. I love it.
Ice cream? My favorite is anything with chocolate in it.

A lot of interesting stuff is going on there in your part of the world. Alan always wanted to plant Bamboo but we just do not have the room for it. I do like it though.
