Corn on the cob season

Since its corn on the cob season & also hot summer days, noone wants to heat up the kitchen with a hot pot of water to cook the corn in. This is so easy its almost a no brainer, but I really didn't have any other recipe in mind so here is an easy way to get the corn done without the heat.

Remove the silks but leave the green outer husks on the ears and cut off the ends so corn will fit in the crock-pot in a standing position. Wash thoroughly. Six to eight ears fit best. Cover and cook on high 45 minutes, then turn to low for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Remove husks, butter & serve. Enjoy with a salad, burgers, or any other choice of favorite foods.

Theres alot more over at Sandra's at Diary of a SAHM.
