Wedding celebrations

Our small group got back together tonight for the first time after our summer break, but instead of starting out Bible studies we had a celebration for our newly weds.
Kathy has been in our group for the last few years, and was widowed several years ago. Richard has not been in our group but was warmly welcomed tonight as the two of them were recently married. That's my funny daughter in the back ground making funny faces.
We filled a basket full of gifts some funny and some just fun for a couple of super nice people.
 They got cute towels.
Two peas in a pod, salt and pepper set.
First Christmas together ornament, along with some hot chocolate.
 A devotional book.
This is a unique, frame with their last name spelled out in four of the pictures, can you make it out?? Weed. The other pictures are just what came in the frame but the couple can put in their own pictures later.
Aren't they cute?? We had some laughs too, here they received a big bowl filled with microwave popcorn, two cans of green tea and a few other goodies.  They were actually married about a month ago and plan leave on their honeymoon tomorrow heading to Arizona, stopping to visit with family along the way.
It was a fun evening to share the happiness with this couple. God brought them together later in life but you can bet they will be filled with His blessings as they walk with the guidance from the Lord.
