What tools do you Have???

Tools like you see on the left are what we think of to fix things, mostly used by guys to fix whatever is on the to do list we wives have for them. But what about the tools for life?? What tools do you use for life??

We can have projects to do and we use the right tools to get our projects done, but I'm talking about the projects of life, like how to respond to unbelievers, or how to spend our money, or conduct yourself in a godly manner so as to point others in the right direction, and to be a good example to friends and family.

You say ok, what is the right tool, and to answer that I say the right tool for any project of life is the written word of God.
We may have the right project but use the wrong tools. One way to know if our tools are the right ones is by asking some questions, do we seek advice of friends first, or go with a gut feeling, or just wing it and hope for the best, or how about this filp a coin??? Then have a horrible since of failure or dread that the outcome will not be just what you thought it would be or maybe not as fulfilling as we had imagined.
By using the right tool, the Bible, we can experience greater faith, greater fellowship, greater future, simply because the glory will go in the right direction and point to God's spirit. By staying in the word we have greater hope, greater boldness and greater freedom which leads to greater transformation, not just for ourselves but those who we touch in our daily lives. Seeds can be planted in the most unusual situations and we have no clue how the Father will use them but we know He will use every opportunity He can to draw us into a closer relationship with Him.
The Bible is a major tool given to us we need to use it daily. Prayer of course is another major tool but that could be for another post.

So true! I think we sometimes forget just how powerful His Word is - and how He can speak to us through it.

How many Bibles do we have in our home? And yet sometimes it is the last place we go for an answer. Good reminder!

This is a great post, Nancy! I have three great tools: The Bible, Prayer, and Obedience. I find that they all work together on most any project.
