And so they said, "I do, I will, forever and ever, amen

The weather couldn't have been better or more perfect for an outdoor wedding. The grand entrance was on the orange trike that they both love to ride. The vows were said with Solomon reverence to God and each other, witnessed by about 100 family and friends, who wished them a very long and happy life together.

Sometimes marrying later in life can be less tumultuous with less worries having already lived and experienced so many of life's battles. One can settle into life together with a smoother road ahead of them

Family pictures were taken and it was good to see all my siblings if just for the afternoon and for a happy event.

My own daughters were there and two my grand kids, and one niece

Dinner was catered, rolls, fresh salad, cheesy potatoes, vegetable medley, & smoked chicken, the usual drinks, coffee, water, assortment of sodas, and champagne for the wedding party toast.

The cake was simple but delicious, a combination of almond and chocolate, and very moist. The first cut was done with a gentle delicate cut by the bride and the groom.

The first bite was not to bad and both managed to hit the others mouth without a mess.

Music was provided by a DJ with good variety of soft rock, oldies and some jazz. The newly weds took the floor for the first dance, and it was evident that the rest of us were no longer in existence at the moment.

Oh, the bliss of true love!!! It was a good day for sure.
