Total wash, this day was!!!

I'm so frustrated with this weather that I could spit!!! We are in the throws of yet another very unpleasant winter storm that is dumping that horrible cold stuff all over and making the roads ice covered and perilous. I'm sure I'm not the only one to be complaining about the weather or who had plans that have been spoiled.
Then one of our friends just happens to call from one of those southern states telling us all about the balmy warm breezes that are warming their little tootsies. Yeah, just what I wanted to hear.
Do you since my bad mood??? Something I rarely have but today is not one of those days. I haven't left the house and don't intend to.
I did make a big pot of lentil soup, and some chicken salad, mainly out of boredom. Played countless games on facebook and did find that fairly entertaining.
I think with all the changes going on at work, that kinda puts a body on edge that I have allowed my mood to be effected or should I say infected.
Not to worry I will get over it and will be my jolly old self in no time. Circumstances will not take my joy of living. This to shall pass. I say!!! How about any of the rest of you?? How was your day???

We had a good day at work today, but busier than it had been. I'm sick of the weather too - the end is in sight!

Wow! What brought that on? :) I have a feeling it wasn't just the weather. Trust me, I've had days and sometimes even weeks like that. You're right. They're no fun and that's for sure. Then along comes the Lord and touches our hearts with something new and we feel humbled to say the least. Yes, I'm fed a steady diet of humble pie. I do hope you're "feeling" a little better today. :)

The weather in Michigan is just one more reason all you girls need to move to Lancaster County, PA. We have lots of nursing homes you girl could work in! Also, we could have slumber parties, go site seeing and churching together. (Churching, is that a word?) Ha! Ha! Do you remember how in the O.T. God used the hornets to get the people to move out of the land, well, maybe, just maybe, he is using the SNOW for you gals! Hee! Hee!

Hope the cold weather goes away for you soon.
