It's DONE!!!

Yes!!! It is finally done and I have to apoligize for the quality of these pictures, I don't know what's going on with my camera but my pictures haven't been the best lately but anywho. The floor is finally done and so is the painting of two walls in the living room /dining room.

I came home yesterday and sweetman had one whole wall entirely painted, I was planning to do it myself today but I only had to do one wall and it had lots of windows so it wasn't that bad. Mind you I am no painter so had to get instructions and a little help from sweetman but he did leave me alone while he went out to meet his son for lunch so I guess he felt I could get it done without him, and I did.
And doesn't that floor just look great??? I sure am liking it, what a difference it makes too!!!

I spent the rest of the day cleaning and putting things back in their place, I even managed to get a few Christmas things out, see the little Charley brown tree??? That's what I call it, I'm not getting out the big tree this year or all of the decorations either. No, I'm not scrooge but it is getting late and we aren't having any parties at our house this year so it is minimum decorating.

This house has been in a mess for almost a month with several int eruptions so it seems good just to have things in order for now. I even have 3 boxes of stuff that I'm giving to Goodwill. I just kept telling myself all day that less is better. I have way to much stuff and this house isn't that big. Of course it is all Sweetmans fault because in his business he brings home all kinds of stuff and he gives me first pick of many of the things he picks up and of course I always find something that I like. I like to think of it as recycling. I get to use it for awhile and when I get tired of it pass it on to someone else. God is very generous with all He has provided we may not have monetary wealth but have been more than blessed with any and all that we need. Sometimes I just say I wish I had this or that and in a day or two Sweetman finds it. It brings to mind this verse. "Honor the Lord with your possessions, and with the first fruits of all your increase, so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine". Proverbs 3:9-10 NKJV

God provides over and over again in so many ways my heart just about bursts with His provisions.

Ya'll have a great week end!!!

It looks wonderful! I'll have to come over and see it in person. Isn't it great to have the clutter cleaned up too? I found that I was bringing a lot to LOVE,Inc when we where working on our house and that's good! Enjoy the weekend!

We are blessed and it's great to be thankful and not take it for granted.

Your walls and floor are beautiful! I bet you are jumping up and down (maybe on the inside) but nevertheless, I know you are happy.

Your little Christmas tree is precious! I only put up a table tree this year too because none of the out of state kids will be coming home.

I love your floors, they look really nice. It also amazes me how God provides in ways we don't even see until years later. I love that sweet tree.

IT LOOKS GREAT! I AM GLAD YOU GOT IT DONE.

I HAVE ONE OF THOSE WILLOW TREES THAT YOU HAVE. I HAVE THE ONE ON THE LEFT.

I ALWAYS TRY TO GET RID OF THINGS WHEN I DO MAJOR CLEANING TOO.

ENJOY THE NEW FLOOR!
