I don't always join into the recipe posting but when Megan announced that she will be hosting a ten favorite fruit recipes I thought I'd join in. Fruit is easy simple and one of my favorite foods so here are some recipes I use in the summer.
Dessert Pizza
1-18 oz roll refrigerator slice and bake sugar cookie
8 oz cream cheese
1/3 cup sugar
cut cookie dough into 1/4 inch slices.
arrange slices slightly overlapping each other on 13" round stone or cookie sheet
Press edges to seal. Bake 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until brown
Cool slightly, loosen cookie from the sheet and allow to finish cooling.
Combine cream cheese and sugar mixing until blended, spread on the cookie.
Arrange your favorite friuts: strawberries, kiwi, blueberries, grapes, madarin oranges, bananas, or whatever you like on top.

Easy fruit salad
Use any fruit in season or whatever is your favorite
I like to use fresh fruit but at times I mix fresh with some canned.
I never measure so you can judge by how many you will be serving.
Pineapple chunks
seedless grapes
apple
marchino cherries
1 can of peach Thank you brand pie filling
Mix it all together and serve chilled.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Grape salad
Cream together 1/2 cup sugar
1, 8 oz cream cheese
1 cup sour cream
2 teaspoons vanilla
seedless grapes (washed)- about 3 lbs or so
mix grapes with cream mixture
Topping
Crush 3/4 cup honey roasted peanuts and sprinkly on grapes
sprinkle brown sugar on top
Refrigerate at least an hour before serving.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fruit Salad
2 avocados, peeled and diced
1-14oz can pineapple or may use fresh
1/4 cup red onion chopped
1/4 cup cilantro,chopped
1 tomato, chopped
2 navel oranges, peeled and chopped
1 jicama, diced
juice of 1 lime
1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and finely chopped.
1/4 teaspoon cumin.
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and refrigerate until ready to serve. Jicama is a crunchy sweet fruit that has the consistency of water chestnuts. You can usually find them in the produce section of the grocery store. However if you can't find them you may use sliced water chestnuts instead. The jicama gives it a unique flavor.

Good recipes! I love the grape one!
My backyard is a fruit salad. We have an apple, pear, nectarine, peach, cherry, and plum tree. They are all new trees so there's not much for fruit on them yet. One day!
I haven't made that dessert pizza in a while - it's so good.
I love the grape salad!
