Today was the final day of Nursing Home week, and we had a few of these old timer cars show up for our residents to look at. The top car belongs to our own Dr. who visits every week to make sure each resident is in tip top shape, for the shape they are in. Seriously, he is very tentative to the needs of each one and calls daily to make sure all is well. He has fully restored this beauty and enjoys showing it off.
This is just another one of the cars that came today. Each car was meticulously taken care of and the pride of the owners was very obvious. Seeing them brought back memories of younger days and a few made the comment, "I had one of those when I was a kid".

Very cool, I bet they reminisced about the good ole days looking at those beauties:)

Neat old cars.

That doctor is a rare gem. They don't make them like that anymore do they? I'm not talking about the cars here either. What a sweet heart you must have. Your care and concern for the elderly is appreciated. Thank you!
It was fun, wasn't it - for the residents and us!
That is great, Nancy. I know they really enjoyed seeing those cars. And how wonderful of your Dr. to go to the nursing home.
I always loved Nursing Home Week and all the activities that went with it...I think the old cars was a great idea...because all of them can remember those old cars....and their courting days!!!
How fun for the residents. I bet they just love seeing the old cars!
Cool cars - they are so neat!
Very nice! Oh what conversation probably came out of their mouths. I love to hear their stories.
Just because one gets old, does not mean that they are still not human. We all needed to be treated with respect.
When you hear some of their stories it can make you appreciate life or be in awe as to what they went through.
