a little to much Java maybe

Wow!! I never thought I could get so excited about driving the speed limit, I mean this morning on the way to work the roads were ice free and driving the speed limit wasn't a problem. No white knuckles or anything, I even had a few extra minutes so I stopped off at "biggby" to pick up a couple of coffees to bring into work, and so nice to see the sun shinning all day with not one snow flake falling from the sky!!!!

And have you noticed the days are getting a bit longer, yup... I do believe there is spring at the end of the snow storms that just might still be lurking around one or two more corners. I'm beginning to feel the energy. Last night I got home from work and started cleaning the lower level family room. I mean I moved the huge sectional couch out, dusted the walls and woodwork behind it and vacuumed the entire room. That isn't such a feat in itself but I usually save this kind of activity for a day off or on the week-ends not an evening project after working all day...I did consume large amounts of java (again fromBiggby) throughout the day at work. The Director of nursing brought in a huge container of coffee to share with all the coffee drinkers and I did get my share.. I really like Biggby coffee, I'm not trying to give it any promotion or anything but it is a very smooth non bitter coffee, with a really good flavor. That could explain all the energy I was feeling, but I like to think it was the anticipation of possibly seeing green grass and leaves on the trees in the near future. Just gives a person a boost in spirit.. This week-end is supposed to be real nice too and I have it off.. Yippee!!!

Don't tell Alan about that coffee from Biggby. This man is really into good coffee. We have three coffee makers and are thinking about having a coffee party. . kinda like a tasting party. I will never sleep that night, for sure!

I am glad that you people up north are getting a break from the snowstorms, and that you finally got to see the sun today. Your seratonin levels should go up and all of you should have smiles on your faces. May this be a wonderful weekend for you all!

Hey Nan! I also have noticed the longer lighter days. I have enjoyed the sunshine that we have had the last couple days also. I have noticed Robins outside in the tree already. That was a week or two ago. I thought to myself--Self, looks like Spring! Yipeeeee!!

It's funny when you drive now and feel like you're speeding and then look at your speedometer and you're still 10 under! It feels so fast after creeping along at 20 mph for the past month! I'm glad for the sunshine too.
