Slow Cooking Thursday

Since my friend Mari, got me into this blogging thing and finding out what fun it is to connect with other ladies at different stages in our lives, whether it is about kids, school
or making meals and keeping a home a place to hang our hats at. I think one of the favorite ones is the slow cooking Thursday and reading all the great meals that each of you prepare. Plus having the bonus of being able to speak freely on the Great God we
love and believe in. So my hats off to Sandra, at Diary of a stay at home Mom for starting this
challenge.
Here's a recipe that is a dessert you can do in the
crock pot.
Peanut butter and hot fudge pudding cake
1/2 cup flour
1/4 cup sugar
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1/3 cup milk
1 tbls. vegetable oil
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup sugar
3 tbls. unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup boiling water
In a bowl, combine the flour, 1/4 cup sugar and baking powder. Add the milk, oil, and vanilla: stir until smooth. Mix in the peanut butter. Pour the mixture into the crock pot. In the same bowl, stir together the 1/2 cup sugar and cocoa powder. Gradually stir in the boiling water. pour the mixture over the batter in the slow cooker, DO NOT STIR!! Cover: cook on high for 2-3 hours
