We have been plagued lately with something or someone digging little holes in our yard at night. Sweetman seems to suspect that it's raccoons searching for worms, so he set out live traps to see if we can catch whatever it is. Well, the first little critter he caught was the neighbors big cat and he was so happy to get out of the trap that he leapt up and over the deck fence so fast you could hardly see it happen. That cat has not returned I might add.
As you can see here is our next victim, these little critters are not very aggressive & not very smart either, it was so passive that even after opening the cage door to release it, it slowly moved out & didn't fully realize it could walk away for just a few minutes, before waddling off into the woods. Sweetman has decided not to set the trap out again since we can't seem to attract the right critter.
