Vacations are great, to bad they only last a few days

I'm sitting here looking out on the shores of Lake Superior and watching a few ducks with their little babies swim by, as the sun is getting ready to sink into the cold waters. Lake Superior has a different look to it then Lake Michigan does but its hard to figure out just what it is that's different. The shores are much rockier, and the beaches are not as nice but all the same just looking at the calming water glisten and hear the gentle waves wash ashore its very relaxing. Something about being near the water always makes me smile, I always said I would make a great beach bum.

So far we have been blessed to visit Grand Maria at the top of the U.P. spent some time with one of Sweetman's sisters, one he never gets to see, wandered around Pictured Rocks and saw a huge bald eagle, next stop is Porcupine Mountains, and Lake of the Clouds. Someone told us that's where the black bears are so maybe we'll see one, from a distance that is....

I'm lovin every minute of it and so far the weather at least today has been picture perfect.
I'd love to show you some pictures but I forgot the cord to down load them into the computer~~~~I had to forget something didn't I??

I just enjoyed a swim in a salt water pool and sat in the hot tub, no one else was in the pool so I had it to myself, so refreshing. Like I said, vacations are so nice but don't last long enough.
