Spring is coming, I'm sure of it

I changed my header picture because I just know spring is coming, I'm really sure of it.

Today was a rainy dreary day but the temperature was not all that bad, it was one of those days that made your bones ache and you just wanted to take a nice nap, or read a good book while sipping on hot tea or coffee eating crumpets.

Ok I don't even know what crumpets really are, and I usually don't drink tea but I am a real coffee connoisseur.
It would have been a good day to bake something but I'm trying not to eat any of that stuff that tends to put blobs on my hips, I have enough of them already.

I did enjoy the day just hanging out with Sweetman and tonight my sweet middle funny daughter joined us to a lovely meal of leftovers. She is always willing to eat just about anything and happy to take anything leftover from the leftovers for her lunch at work tomorrow.

Changing subjects here but did anyone watch the Presidents speech last night??? and what did you think??? He is a great orator but...... you fill in the blanks
