Oh my people do you realise that summer is over???
I just don't know where it went, do any of you??. It has something to do with age I'm sure, because every year summer flits by in an instant and next thing you know all that cold white stuff is all over the yard, roads and just everywhere. I can't say that S word just yet after all it is just the first day of fall. I say someone is messing with time to make it go faster.
In case you haven't guessed I hate to see the summer end with all the green grass and beautiful flowers, sweet fragrant breezes, long walks near the lake, picnics, campfires, sigh.. I could go on for ever about spring or summer but fall and winter.. not so much.
Fall is a nice season with the cooler evenings to make sleeping so blissful all tucked in those blankets warm and toasty. And I do like getting out the sweaters and warmer clothes, fall smells of burning leaves, football games and crisp fresh air, but......yeah but, not the boots, heavy coats, mittens, shovels, snow blowers, slippin and slidin to work down the road.. but we're not there yet so enjoy this next season to the max its a gift to us from the Father and He gives us the best of the best here in Michigan. Enjoy the journey and adventure of fall.
