Goofing off again, slight blog neglect

Apparently I really stink at this blogging, I haven't been posting for such a long time I almost for got I had a blog to post on. Seriously, I have to blame it partly on Facebook, its so easy to just start leaving little short comments and playing some of those silly games that blogging has taken a back seat. Not to mention that the weather has been so fantastically hot and really summer like that I have been outside until dark almost every day.

Hope everyone had a super Fourth of July and celebrated with family or friends.

We spent part of Saturday visiting with several members of Sweetmans family. They do a group camping thing every year and this is one of the first times we have checked it out. We are not campers but I do enjoy the visiting and walking the trails, sitting around the campfire and eating what ever is cooked outside. Then I like to go home and get the dirt washed off my feet and the smoke smell out of my hair.

Tonite we took off on the motorcycle, perfect weather for riding, one of those evenings when you could just keep cruising,and not get cold, take in all the sights, smells and simply enjoy being alive. Of course we had to stop by the beach for a stroll and then Sweetman had to satisfy his sweet tooth with ice cream. I didn't want the evening to end.
