The big lake can one day be a boiling huge pond of white water, crashing against the pier without mercy and with in hours be something so serene and beautiful you can't believe that it is the same water
.We love to drive by the lake at random times just to see what is going on at the beach front.
The camp ground at the State park is empty now but you see all kinds of campers through the spring, summer & early fall, some very elaborate and some simple, but always a few hardy folks walking the boardwalk, no matter what the weather is.We are so Blessed with gorgeous sunsets which we often take for granted. Since we visit the beach so much I often hear comments of other people from other States say they have never seen such beautiful sunsets.
I have a cousin who lives in California & her husband once told me it was impossible to have a lake so big that you can't see across it, of course he has never been to Lake Michigan & lives inland in Ca, so all they have out there are manmade reservoir's or very small lakes.
Never take the beauty around you for granted no matter where you live...
