I know Valentines day is over and just a memory for many of you by now but at the N.H. where I work there were still a few who mentioned today about the fun they had celebrating with family and friends.
Our Social director organized games, music and snacks for our residents to celebrate the day set a side as the love holiday. Families were encouraged to bring in pictures of wedding days and to share memories.
We had a big turn out filling the dining room with volunteers, staff, families and residents. They played table games, sang songs relating to love and ate goodies colored in pink and red.
