I thought you might like to see some of the people in my small group Bible study that I have mentioned from time to time. It was a smaller group tonight because many were traveling to family gatherings or meeting other obligations in preparation for the coming Christmas holiday. Here you see the women who were at our last study for this season. 
Here you see the men. They all look like they have been up to something suspicious don't you think?? Really its been a fun group & we have all become good friends helping each other with trials of life & gleaning wisdom from the Word of God. We completed our study in the book "The knowledge of the Holy" by A.W. Tozer, which was a very in depth dig deep type of study with alot of discussion. Some of the things you already know about in your heart about the attributes of God but at the same time realizing there will be unanswered questions that we may never understand this side of heaven. Someone in the group said we can chase these things around forever & never get a clear picture of just how big, how great, how just our God is. I spoke of just a few of these attributes, here. 
You can see we didn't lack for good food, usually we just have snack type things but tonight we enjoyed pizza, salad, & desserts. Here you see a picture of a beautiful dessert that was almost to pretty to cut into to eat, but we did & it was delicious !!!
I tried to get a shot of this punch bowl it was huge, if you notice there is a snowman on the side, one of many scattered about this home. The lady of the house has a passion for snowman & her home is very tastefully decorated with them all over the house. Its been a good time for all of us & I feel I have grown in the understanding of just how wonderful a God we serve.
