Most of you know we have been working on replacing our kitchen floor, here is a sneak preview of before and after.
Keep in mind that it is still not completely done, this has been one big project that was supposed to be fairly easy but as most of you know there is always something that fouls up the process. We thought we would be able to take the old floor off without much trouble but that wasn't to be, we had to completely remove the underlayment and replace that, then for some odd reason the electric on one side of the room quit. Just like that, so that needed to be addressed before proceeding, thankfully it was a wire that came loose in the circuit breaker & was an easy fix. But put a halt in the floor laying for about a day. Then there was that hole in the wall...but we won't go there.
Sweetman is just finishing up the baseboard trim and soon it will be all done. I just love the new look, & can't wait to get the house cleaned up & back together. What do you all think so far???
