Friday I had a chance to have my Great grandson over for part of the afternoon.
I don't have any baby equipment at my house any more but there is always a way to improvise when necessary.
Here you see him with this cute but bewilderd look on his face. Hes sitting on two phone books and strapped in with one of Great grandpa's belts.
By the look on his face he's saying, "but this isn't like what I sit on at my house".
Once he got used to it though it was ok and the soft cookie he was eating was more than good, he was all smiles.
We had a little play time, a change of the britches and a bottle.
Then nap time, so fun but I realized how much work they are and how time comsuming they can be. In between our fun, dinner needed to be started but we managed.
Wonder how I did it with three small kids years ago???

So cute, but like you say they sure do keep you busy! Glad you got to enjoy him for a while!
Awwww! He is a PEACH! Grandchildren are so precious to us and here you have a Great already. You do not look old enough to be Great Grandmother.
He is sooooo adorable! I love how you improvise. Amazing what things ya can come up with to make things work. Cute little bugger.
Sounds like you had an amazing day and the reason you had kids a long time ago is because if you had kids in your fiftys or later, you would be too pooped out!
Looks like you had a fun day. I miss little ones running around the house - can't wait for great-grandchildren.
Popped over from Mari's place! I've asked myself the same question - how we managed with 3 small kids, and babysitting other folks kids, and for a while fostering a few. Oh my! Spent the week-end with 2 grands 'cause mom was in hospital and I'm bushed!
You've sure got a little cutie here!
