Saturday night we enjoyed attending a packed out concert for the Gaithers.
Eight of us from our small Bible study group had the privilege to go worship with the Gaithers. We had an early dinner downtown and while walking from there t the Arena, I noticed these trees in full bloom I think they are Bradford Pears.
If you ever get the chance I recommend going we had the most enjoyable time and the music of course was superb. Mark Lowery sang the song he wrote "Mary, did you Know" and gave Bill Gaither a hard time with teasing about his hair and several other fun digs as he usually does.
Buddy Greene sang and played the harmonica like no one else can, it was amazing!!! There wasn't one song that didn't uplift and glorify the name of Christ.
The Isaac's did such great harmonizing, with voices that made you want to get to heaven real soon just to hear the singing that must be going on all the time there.
This is the second Gaithers concert we have been to and worshiping with this kind of music will never get old.

We had our small group at our house tonight and one of the couples was at the concert. They also said it was just marvelous!
Check out this picture and see if it looks familiar -

Oh, I'm jealous!! I love the Gaithers and all their friends. I've only been to one concert but have enjoyed their music so much through the years!
I've never been to a concert but I sure enjoy Mark Lowery and his awesome sense of humor.

I've been to a concert a few years ago. It was great! We have some of their tapes.
Hello Nancy, I saw them when I lived in TN, and they are great.
