Evening of fishing

After the last funny episode of taking the boat out I was a bit leery to try it again but we did, and everything went off without any hitches. We took my daughter along because she actually likes to fish, I don't, I just like to be on the water.(not so much in it, if there is alot of seaweed) I hate seaweed. Anyway we had a bunch of laughs and actually caught a few fish.
This was the big catch of the evening, Sweetman got this 14 inch big mouth bass, at least that's what he told me it was. We threw him back in cuz we really don't eat much fish and it was the only big one of the evening.

My daughter landed 3-4 of these little blue gills, but they went back in the drink too.
I just sat back and enjoyed the evening, we had a short drizzle of rain but it was warm and felt good. God gives us so many enjoyable activities and wonderful creatures to see and hear. By the time we headed back to the dock the frogs were starting to croak, and a blue heron flew up out of the reeds just a few feet from us, nice ending to a fun evening.

What a nice evening. If I know you three, there was a lot of laughing going on in that boat!

I don't know if I'll ever forget your last boating ... trip? (Pun intended too). :)

Sounds like you all add a fun evening. I'm not a fisherman but we do have fish in our pond. The neighbor kids come to fish. It's fun to watch them, they get so excited when they catch anything.
