A walk in the woods always does the soul good. I love to be outside breathing in the fresh air, listening to the birds as they sing their songs of joy to the changing seasons. Even though this looks more like fall in the picture it looks a whole lot better than it did just a few short weeks ago with snow so deep it would have been impossible to walk in this trail. We wandered around looking for any signs of spring but no flowers poking their heads up just yet. After all it is only march but I think this year everyone is so eager for warm springs breezes we keep hoping to find anything that says spring is here. Its been sunny but the winds have been pretty stiff and a chill is still in the air, ah but the sun is much warmer.
Today we saw two returning birds, the Red winged black bird and a grosbeak, of course the robins have been back for a awhile now so.. its good its all good...

When I was walking yesterday I was amazed abd thrilled by how many birds were singing!
Thank goodness, the little birds are a good sign! It won't be long now.

The birds were singing loudly in my back yard this morning. Even though it still looks like winter out there, the music of the birds is calling up the daffodils and crocus.

We have blue birds, nuthatches and the red wing black birds. I set my half orange out for the Orioles, this year I want to get a pic like you did last year, haven't seen them YET!! Have a Blessed week:)
