Such an Awesome sight

As we were sitting at the table the other day enjoying our coffee and deciding on what to have for breakfast, my husband suddenly said, "Oh, my look at that"!!! I looked out the window and there sitting in the tree was a huge hawk... The squirrels were having a fit in another tree with chattering and flipping their tails, you could see they were scared. There wasn't a bird insight at the feeders either. The hawk just sat very quietly watching and waiting. It was a sight to behold!!! My camera you ask?? Couldn't find it...
Then a short time later Sweetman went outside and in the snow was the perfect image of the hawks body with its wings spread out. You could even see the fine feathers imprinted in the snow. He must have tried to catch something and swooped down touching the snow and leaving that imprint of his body. It made me think of the snow angels that kids make. A thing of beauty I'm telling you... Just sharing something interesting.

Why do we never have our camera when we need it? Hawks are really a magnificent bird!

I don't know about you but I'm beginning to think it would be a good idea to wear our cameras around our neck like necklaces. How about you? :) That must have been a very beautiful sight for sure. :)
