Need some flowers???

There is a greenhouse near where I live that I just love to visit every spring. I don't always buy here but it does give me lots of ideas. How could it not it is so big if you can't find just the right flower here you never will.
My middle child and I spent about two and a half hours wandering up and down the aisles, wowing and ahaaing, making statements like, "oh, isn't this pretty, I have just the place for this", only to have our eyes scan on to the next beauty waiting for our exclamations of wonder.

Here you see my lovely child touching some of the stepables that can be planted in walkways and actually walked on without damaging the plant. She just had to touch them and in the process manage to pluck a small portion out of the container, which she quickly tamped back into the dirt without any damage but gave us a start and a good laugh. Joking about how the flower police would be coming to take her away any minute!!!

I'm not familiar with what this hanging plant is but there were rows and rows of them creating an awesome flood of color that gave visual wonder to the eye, and the nose for that matter.

I snapped this one on my way to the green house. The day was crisp and clean with these huge clouds that were begging me to take their picture. God has given us so many things to remind us of His presence, all we have to do is look around and smell the flowers, look at the clouds and enjoy our times together with family. Life is good if we keep in simple.

I love going here! That looks pretty typical of Faith, messing in the flowers! That hanging plant is called a chenille plant - it's different isn't it?

I too love visiting green houses in the spring or anytime of the year. I haven't gone yet this spring. We had a cold snap so that made me want to wait before I purchase flowers. We will be gone to Washington DC this week so we will have to put off buying flowers till after we get home. Can't wait!

We just went there last week too. It's so fun to wander around. The girls spotted that funny hanging basket and thought it looked like worms.

It sounds like you and your daughter had a lot of fun. What did it smell like in there? I don't have a sense of smell so if you wouldn't mind letting me know. I'll bet it smelled really pretty, huh?

Leave it to Mari to know that it was a chenille plant. I've never heard of that but it's really cool looking.

RYC: Thanks for answering what may have seemed like a strange question for you. It's just with the scenery you described, I just had to know.

Leave it to Mari to know what kind of plant it is. I think it looks like a bunch of catepillars. I like that same place. I can wander around in there a long time too. Now it will get busy!

That last basket was amazing..I don't think I have ever seen anything like that.
I have enjoyed spending a lot of time in my yard in the past and this looks like a great place to live close too.
And I will agree with you that nature is a great reminder of the creative nature of our God who is all around us. He gives such incredible attention to details in nature--it is not amazing that He take such care of us.
