If you need a gadget

Oh yeah, oh yeah, I caught him doing some yard work.. Normally he doesn't get into to much yard work except to fertilize, and mow which is a big deal because we have about an acre to care for. I do the stuff like the flower beds etc. But I caught him yesterday cleaning out left over leaves in the bed of ivy that grows so lovely every year under some huge oak trees next to the driveway. Its a bugger to get the leaves out of the tangle of ivy vines but this here thing amajig is just the gadget to do it.

This thing is a monster, but it sucks up just about anything, it has many functions too. You can take attachments off and it becomes a powerful leaf blower or attach the hose and vacuum things that way. I tell ya we got a gadget for just about anything you can think of as far as yard work is concerned. I even have my own little version of a leaf blower, among many other things that make garden work much easier. With the temperature getting more and more spring like the yard work is calling. Get outside and enjoy the beauty God puts all around us..

It is a lot of work keeping the ivy clean but it is so worth it. I bet these trees are really pretty when the ivy gets going.

We grew ivy up on the back of our shed and it was so pretty. Over the winter the voles chewed off the vines that went into the ground hence killing the ivy. Now we have to replant. ARGH!

Hi Nancy

So sweet of you to drop by tonight.

Wow...that's a wonderful gadget, especially when someone else is out doing the work. Lucky you.

Hugs!

Ray Man! Quite the gadget. Looks like you can accomplish a lot with that. Word of caution---while sucking up the leaves like a vaccume, don't let the hose get away from ya. It might pull your cheek off. Tee-Hee.
I have enjoyed working outside this past weeken too Nan!
