Who doesn't love a tea party? The other day we had a tea party at work for all the ladies & they had a so much fun it was great to see the smiles & to hear 80-90 year old ladies giggling like small children. Someone brought in their collection of fancy tea cups, you see here on display, aren't they pretty. I prefer a good size mug & I like coffee over tea. I don't think it mattered much what they were drinking it was just the fun of doing it. Oh yeah, they put on all kinds of hats while enjoying this little party & some of the hats were enough to give you a good belly shaking out loud laugh too. What fun to see very old ladies having a good time...Have any of you ever had a tea party?? I don't think I have, that is a shame isn't it...???

A lady from my church does tea parties, with the fancy dresses and all. I was invited to one once, and it was so much fun.
I just got my pictures back from this tea party. Those ladies had so much fun!
Oh I remember when I worked there, and Karla and I had the Mad Hatters Tea Party, Karla served scones, yummy! Even Jack wore a hat!! what Fun:) Miss those times:)
What a great idea. I think that is wonderful the old ladies could enjoy a tea party. How sweet.
Yes, I LOVE to do tea parties with little girls! They love it, dressing fancy-in hats and pearls, sipping tea and munching crumpets and tea sandwiches...so much fun! I turn on the classical music, put on the whole fancy table-love it.

Used to have tea parties with a young moms group I was involved in. Miss it! Maybe I should start one up for "older" moms! LOL
I've never been to a tea party- but I sure am admiring all the tea cups. I collect them and there are some beautiful ones there!
Being a collector of teacups, I really enjoyed seeing these. It sounds like a fun party.
Sounds like a wonderful party. I am actually making my daughter's birthday party a tea party!
Hi, I clicked over from Monkey Giggles, I love tea parties, I have a cup and saucer collection and we are starting my girls on their own collection. We do tea parties at Christmas time, which is near DD's birthday, the girls have such a fun time. It is such a nice tradition.
I'm with you, prefer coffee over tea and a big mug over dainty china, but oh well. It's all fun anyway.
Beautiful picture...love going out for tea...Tea rooms etc...well even coffee..love them both.
