Did someone say Global warming????

I just had to show you what it looked like today as I was driving home from work. The snow was whirling around from every which way, I was glad it was still daylight because visibility wasn't that good at times & I can only bet it is a lot worse now that it is dark.

The temperature gauge in the car said it was 7 degrees, that is without the wind chill factored in. Now, I am not a weather expert but I can tell you that is cold!!! I'm sure that it is colder somewhere else in fact I think I heard on the news that somewhere in Siberia it was 70 below now that is really horrible!!!
We took a drive out by the Lake just to see what was going on there. Not much in the way of people activity but once again the wind was whipping but sand & snow & blowing it all over the place.

Normally you would see people walking along this walk way but you can barely make out the sidewalk & guess what, no people. I stepped out of the car just to take this picture & I thought my face was about to freeze. I can't say I am convinced that we are experiencing global warming in my neck of the woods or for that matter anywhere in the states right now. Even some of the southern states are in a deep freeze, & having snow where snow hardly ever gets. What's it doing in your neck of the woods??? Stay warm & dress in layers if you plan on going out for any length of time... Be safe..

I love those lake pictures. I kind of wanted to take a drive and go look at the lake too - but.... didn't really feel like getting out. I'm loving this snow. And my thoughts to Al Gore : You are full of , (I'll say it nicely), "baloney".

I laughed so hard when I read that because that's what we were saying - "Global Warming?!! Yeah right!" Maybe we oughta invite ol' Gore over here for a while and see how warm he thinks it is! :)

WOW...those pictures are unbelievable. I always forget just how cold it is elsewhere throughout the states.

Here in South Florida it is raining (A LOT!) today and about 70 degrees.

Beautiful pics...thanks so much for sharing them, I love it!

I love your lake pictures! Most of the snow we had is now gone. Only patches of it are here and there.
