Fall flowers

Oh, the feeling of fall that is in the air & the flowers that are in the garden, if not for the flowers & the beautiful colors that the leaves on the trees take on in the next few weeks I would love to eliminate these two seasons.

In case you haven't guessed by now I'm not to fond of this time of year just because of what follows, any of you who live in areas that have four seasons know what the next few months bring. Yep, cold dreary cloudy sometimes sleet, snow, ice, slush, need I say any more. I know, I know so many live in places that have no changes in the seasons & I don't think I would like that very much at all either, but as I get older each winter gets longer & colder. I hate the extra clothes one has to wear just to keep warm, & I can never seem to wear enough to keep me warm I'll be cold from now on until next may or June not to mention it gets dark so early that I think I have to go to bed at 6pm & I would like to sleep in till it gets light which is about 8am, & if I did that I would be late for work everyday, I truly think I was meant to be a bear & hibernate every winter.
Your all probably saying what's she going on about already, Its not even near winter & fall is such a gorgeous time of the year, but I truly savor the few last warm days we will be having & so look forward to warmer months. Ah, but the flowers & the colors that are so vibrant. God truly paints beauty all around us & I will enjoy these seasons just as much as the others because life is so precious & we are so blessed by everyday that we are given. Rejoice in the place that we are at right now whether in good seasons or bad, God has given them all to us to marvel in & to hold His hand. Isn't it enough to just wonder why God would even want to hold our hands, we are so insignificant but He still loves us with the beauty He sends in the seasons. Enjoy Life to the fullest & hold tight to the hand of God......

Nancy you are so funny! I think you would make a pretty cute little bear though, and you just might have some company - I'll hibernate too. But we'll need to also follow suit with the bears stuffing themselves before they hibernate. So we better eat a lot of chocolate and carbs before we crawl down in our cave!

I am dreading winter more every year too! I hate driving in it and being cold all winter. We should just go from fall to spring!

now that we live in town, rather than 15 minutes from town, i feel "somewhat" better about winter ... i'm so thankful for a cozy place to hibernate in! tho' winters here in manitoba definitely outlast their welcome!
