What's wrong with the picture????

Well here I have another lovely plant growing that is susposed to have beautiful blue flowers but I have yet to see one little bud. This is actually a Morning Glory plant growing ever so nicely but as you can see without the flowers. I don't think
this has ever happened to me before.
Beat your breast for the pleasant fields for the fruitful vines. Isaiah 32:12.
So I can only say, What's up with this anyway??? If any of you gardners have any idea of what went wrong & why no flowers please let me know. The vine is beautiful all by itself but I would have like to see the flowers that should go with it.
Once again I have waited to write this until it is late in the evening & I am about done in for the day but I do want to thank a few of my blogging friends for the kind comments & the encouragement to keep on blogging I will try to make a better effort to post in a timely manner.
Until tomorrow may you all feel loved & surounded by the presence of our Loving Father.

Nancy - I don't have any advice, but the same thing happened to me last year. The plant was huge but it only got about 2 or 3 flowers the whole summer.

So this year I stuck something different in it's spot!

I'm sorry your vine is flowerless! I was telling Bob about it and he reminded me that last year ours did that, but this year he planted it again and now it is blooming. Go figure!

Hi Nancy! Thanks for the encouragement about my little love story! I wanted to tell you that one year I planted morning glories using seed I'd harvested myself from the previous year's plant, and the plant that grew from those seeds didn't produce flowers. I have only had luck (beautiful, bountiful blue luck - I just ♥ morning glories!!! I'ma plant some next year... I keep forgetting!

I didn't finish my thought! I've only ever had luck with seeds I purchased from an actual seed catalog or store... not from my harvested seeds.

Megan, Thanks for the tip, I bought this plant from a road side stand & maybe that is the case here... Anyway I will know better next year....

Nancy - could this just be a late bloomer? I have one going up my fence and don't see buds yet either. I am still hoping though!
